Sixteen Hastings residents were killed by enemy action when the Swan Inn was destroyed by the Luftwaffe at lunch time on Sunday, 23rd May 1943.  There will be a short service of remembrance alongside Swan Gardens to mark the 78th anniversary at 11.15 a.m. on Sunday, 23rd May 2021.

Please gather in the grounds of St. Clement’s Church or on the pavement by St. Clement’s steps.
